The Crossbow special operations pack represents a new dimension in rescue response: incorporating lightness and speed, with unmatched performance and stability.
We originally designed this pack for special units of the U.S. government, but it has quickly become a favorite among SAR hasty teams, mtn bike patrols, man trackers, and dog handlers.
The heart of the Crossbow is its perfect anatomical cut and slim, breathable suspension system, which allows the wearer to move, crawl or climb, almost as if there was no pack on them at all. It has a hydration bladder sleeve and twin ports so that you can have your drinking tube on either shoulder strap! Some of our customers carry a radio inside the pack with a remote mic threaded through the extra tube port.
The Crossbow features three compartments, unique BREATHABLE shoulder straps, a wicking back panel, daisy chain, adjustable side gear loops, twin tool tunnels for ice tools, ski poles, man tracking sticks, or MAG flashlights, bottom quick release gear straps, and an elastic “x” cord for carrying odd shaped items.
The back pocket is lined with Velcro compatible fabric, making it compatible with our M.O.S. systems so you can set the pocket up for first aid supplies, or other specialized equipment.
This small and extremely specialized pack is definitely not for everybody, but if your job entails moving quickly, balancing, running, crawling, or just being unnoticed, this is the pack for you!
